Kailey A. Oakes is a Paralegal with Freedman Law, LLC, assisting in all aspects of our employment law practice. Ms. Oakes graduated last fall from the University of Maryland, College Park, having majored in Anthropology with a minor in Law. She plans to attend Law School next year. Kailey is dedicated to helping protect workers’ rights and promoting social justice. Alongside Mr. Freedman, she is passionate about supporting the firm’s civil rights practice and learning all aspects of the legal field.

Kailey hails from Calvert County, Maryland, where much of her family currently resides. Kailey keeps herself busy and is always surrounded by friends and family. She often visits Solomons Island and the beaches in Calvert. When Kailey is not working or attending classes, she is a frequent patron of local coffee shops and art museums. She is especially passionate about ancient Egyptian artifacts and history.
